Goddamn lurkers. Someday, one of us will invent the secret to getting lurkers to join the community. Honestly, I think the people that actually post on a forum are like 5% or less of the total people that view it.

...Agreed. I've seen a couple of forums in the past where the code has been modded so that anyone who doesn't post at least one post a month or so has their account deleted. The only problem with that is you'll get schmucks and pseudotrolls posting "Meee Toooo!!" posts with no real content addition just to keep their accounts active. Sorta like the old adage about how you can take a whore to culture but you can't make her think.

Me too. Me too! Me...too?
(I wonder if there's a Pokemon named Metoo, or Mito...I know there's Mewtwo (Mewtoo?) but he says more than just his name. Still, a scifi writer could do worse than writing about some A.I. who learned to communicate from scanning the 'net, and wrongly assumed that "Me too" was the most innocuous way to join a conversation since it lacked the ability to understand those words were used sparsely by a large number of people. It'd crack me up anyway.)
