If I get my arse in gear I'll put some of the photos I've been taking online. Only very recently got back into photography after getting a 1000D, never had a DSLR before so it's been fun learning how to take shots properly

Same here, I've just been messing round with it and improving. Take a lot of shots whilst out on various nights out, lots of burlesque performers and such. Started out and I had one photo I'd really love, now I end up with 2/3 which is my mark of improvement to myself.
Here's a quick one I shot tonight whilst mucking about. Quickly processed in ze GIMP.
That Ticker Detritus is a great shot indeed!
