, and having actual pictures to draw from, plus lots and lots of practice, can get someone who didin't they could draw comic books to draw my very own comic book alter ego. It took a long time and many revisals. But it was also the first thing I really attempted in that style. It was really helpful that I was drawing basically to scale a copy of a black and white pic I had taken for that very purpose. And using tracing paper helps when you need to fix one small thing or mistroke or even the eyes, or even try something different. I use sharpies now so that I can see through the paper to my previous sketches and use it as a guide for what I got right and what I didn't. If I can do this
