Black Panther Will Start Shooting In January
Black Panther has been ramping up for a while now, and it really has brought together an amazing cast. With Ryan Coogler at the helm too, there are tons of reasons to be hopeful.
The film is really close to starting production now, and it seems we have a solid date. On Location Vacation are saying that the film will start shooting in January 15th, 2017 in Atlanta. The shoot will take place at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, which it will use as a 'homebase' for that portion of the shooting.
That is soon! My expectation is that we won't see anything from the film until at least SDCC next Summer, and even then, it could be a Hall H only deal. At the same time though, this is an important milestone for any movie. It's really happening.
