Report: Winter Soldier Star Sebastian Stan Has A Shield

According to a photo posted to Instagram yesterday, Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan has obtained his very own Captain America shield, prompting the 24 hour news cycle to pick up on the Instagram post with clickbait articles like this one.

According to the post, this isn't a movie prop. Stan got the shield from Shield Labs, a collectibles store in Missouri. That hasn't stopped the entertainment press from trying to speculate on just what impact this might have on future Avengers movies, however. After all, Stan does say the shield will "come in handy," which is basically irrefutable proof he'll use a shield in a future flick. Not only that, but Bleeding Cool can exclusively confirm that the Winter Soldier will walk through a hallway in Avengers: Infinity War, so that's two confirmed scoops from this one photo.
