For Local Comic Shop Day Stores That Don't Have Doctor Strange: The Oath Today

So. Today is Local Comic Shop Day. Where around 500 comic book stores sign on to sell limited edition and exclusive variants of a variety of comic books and a few toys. If they have them.

There is some controversy over the availability of the Doctor Strange: The Oath hardcover, with some stores in Britain reporting that no British stores received any copies of the item in question.

Well, a quick check into OK Comics in Leeds reveals that's not true.

It is true to say, however, that this particular item had to be ordered sooner than any of the others.

So if a store decided only to be part of Local Comic Shop Day at a later date – is this true of you Forbidden Planet? – then they won't have copies of this particular item.

But if you are in Britain and you really want a hardcover edition of The Oath – may I recommend the Hachette partwork version?
