Report Says Michael Giacchino Is Going To Be Composing Spider-Man: Homecoming Off Doctor Strange Success

Michael Giacchino is probably one of the most distinguished, (and distinguishable) composers working in Hollywood right now. He is literally just coming off the back of Doctor Strange, which was a score that felt pretty unique and lovely for the MCU.

Well, he could be going to double dip in the world. It was claimed on Reddit (via and MCU Exchange) that Kevin Feige at a screening of Doctor Strange at the University of Southern California said that Giacchino will be composing Spider-Man: Homecoming.

This hasn't been confirmed yet, but it makes sense. Spider-Man has a pretty dense pedigree of composers at the cinema with both Danny Elfman and the late James Horner putting in amazing shifts, but I think Giacchino hangs with that list, defintely.
