There Is A Furby Movie Coming
Movies based on toys are hardly a new thing. Hell, we are in the midst of Trolls still, and a lot of Hollywood franchises go through massive merchandising process before even coming out.
In that vein, it seems TWC-Dimension are working on a Furby movie. This was announced by Bob Weinstein at the American Film Market (via Variety). There is no talent reportedly attached yet , but it is said it will be a CG/live-action hybrid. Hasbro executives Stephen Davis said:
We think that this can resonate as a four-quadrant film. It can't just be a 90-minute commercial.
So… now we have this to look forward too. That is… cool? Hey, you can make a good movie out of anything with enough care and brains. Let's not write this one off…
