EA Would Delay Mass Effect: Andromeda Months If It Needed Too

Mass effect

A ton of people, myself included, are very excited about Mass Effect: Andromeda. The original three rank as some of my most beloved games, and while they served as a complete story, I can't wait to see where Bioware go with the franchise next.

For the moment, the game is set for March after being delayed out of 2016, but in an earnings call, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen did say the publisher wouldn't have any worries about delaying the game, saying:

We're willing to make moves in launch dates if we feel that it's necessary to deliver the right player experience. Our guidance assumes that Mass Effect continues to be in this [fiscal] year, but it gives us some flexibility that we might choose to move it either a week or three, or four, or five months if we have to based on what we want to make sure in terms of delivering the right experience to the players

The CFO did stress that the game is tracking well though, so maybe don't get too worried about this. Of course, Bioware should take as long as they need to make a great game, but… I really would like to play that game. Let's hope they hit it on time.
