Will Your Comic Shop Be Attending The Diamond UK Retailer Event At MCM London Comic Con Next Friday?

Next weekend sees the UK's biggest comic con, MCM Comic Con London, now the only comics show taking place at the Excel Centre.

It's also the only place to be for comic book retailers, on the Friday for the Diamond UK Retailer event.

As well as presentations from Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Valiant and IDW, with exclusive retailer giveways and auctions.

Might be worth checking if your store will be there….

An auction will be held to benefit the CBLDF, where retailers can bid on Marvel's 1:1000 variant covers, a selection of DC's Dark Knight III 1:500 Jim Lee covers, signed books by Warren Ellis and Neil Gaiman, original comic artwork and more.

While retailers will receive a $99.99 IDW slipcase edition , a $49.99 deluxe Dark Horse HC, the Marvel Monsters Unleashed NYCC exclusive 4 interlocking covers, DC exclusive Suicide Squad & Harley Quinn April Fools special B&W roadshow covers , plus the Valiant NYCC exclusive ( and more). Though retailers will have to wait till they get home again to receive them. Easier to carry that way, less likely to be left in the bar.

Attending retailers will also get extra copies of Unworthy Thor #1 and Occupy Avengers #1 just for turning up. They'll also be able to order exclusive UK variants for Venom #1, Optimus Prime #1, Harbinger Renegade #1 and Warhammer 40,000 #1 (below)…
