40,000 Comics, Including Hundreds Of Todd McFarlane Spider-Man, Stolen In Pennsylvania

toddspidey1-407x630Sometime in the last month, the storage facility of Golden Unicorn Comics in McAdoo, Pennsylvania was raided resulting in the theft of more than 40,000 comics.

As a result, over 40,000 comics from the eighties and nineties, kept in storage by store owner Mike Steco, were stolen.

They include multiple issues of certain titles, such as over a hundred copies of Spider-Man #1 and Spider-Man #2 by Todd McFarlane and others. Identifiably, each comic was bagged with the flap folded to the front. A number also had stickers indicating the book's name, number, price and code indicating its date and cover price.

If any retailer has received such identifiable offers of sale in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York areas, they can call Pennsylvania State Police Officer Wysocky at (570) 459-3890.

Thanks to Matt for a typo check.
