Walt Flanagan Is Taking Batman To Hell

Matt Farnham writes,

AMC brought back the cast of Comic Book Men to New York Comic Con as they prepare for the launch of season 6. The show sees Walt Flanagan try and manage the sometimes wild behaviors of Bryan Johnson (I'm not even supposed to be here, as I don't work at the store), Ming Chen and walking comic book encyclopedia Mike Zapcic.

One interesting point discussed was the next edition of Kevin Smith and Walt Flanagan's run on Batman that has been on hiatus for 6 years now. With the new 52 effectively ending all story arcs when Smith recently met with Dan DiDio on the set of Comic Book Men, the conversation was had with Smith and Flanagan being given free reign to end the arc however they want.

With that in mind, Flanagan already has 3 more issues drawn and we can expect to see Batman go to hell in an arc involving the Demon, Trigon.
