Eidetic Memory And Overpopulation At The Heart Of Inferno

With a Tom Hank's movie at the top of the box office, it makes sense that Sony would start rolling out the promotion for his next film, Inferno. The third film in the franchise, based on the fourth by Dan Brown, has Hanks returning as Professor Robert Langdon from the Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons along with director Ron Howard.

The first of two featurettes focuses on the antagonist, Bertrand Zobrist (Ben Foster) who sees the world's biggest threat as overpopulation and he has a plan to deal with it unilaterally. The second featurette turns the attention to Langdon's "superpower", his eidetic memory and how that is greatly impaired in this film and creates the early tension as he discovers his own bizarre actions.

Inferno opens October 28th.
