Sideshow Collectibles Unveils Life-Sized R2-D2 Figure

This one is for BIG fans of Star Wars. Sideshow Collectibles has unveiled their life-sized R2-D2 figure that is now available for pre-order. The true hero of the Star Wars franchise stands 48" tall (counting Millennium Falcon themed base) and 42" wide. He was sculpted by Pascual Wawoe and painted by Bernardo Esquivel. Now don't be fooled by the pre-order page, the $745.00 figure is per month for 10 months… meaning the piece is $7,450.00 plus shipping.

But damn that thing is cool.
