Peter Capaldi Tells Us When Doctor Who Series 10 Will Air

We're getting a Christmas Day Special. But that will mark a year since Doctor Who has been on the screen. Will we have to wait until the autumn of 2017 for Series 10?

It seems not. Talking to fans while filming, Peter Capaldi let it be known that the new series should start airing in April 2017, shifting Doctor Who back to the spring/summer slots rather than the autumn slots the series moved into in recent years.

"We'll be on at Christmas, and then it starts again in April, I think".
