Top Tips For Talent Entering Millarworld Talent Search 2017

Mark Millar's previous two new talent competitions  for Clint! Magazine were heavily criticised for firstly announcing winners but then abandoning their work unpublished, and then not choosing winners at all.

But the Millarworld Talent Search for this year was far more successful and led to the publication of the Millarworld Annual 2016 by Image Comics, featuring new stories by new creators based on Millar';s existing comic boom properties, with many seeing publication for the first time.

Any now he's doing it again, for The Millarworld Annual 2017.

In a press release, he promised  DC and Marvel starter rates ($90 per page for writers, $200 per page for artists) for the winners.

And this year's six winning writers, artists and a cover artist will have Empress, Supercrooks, Superior  Huck and Nemesis to choose from as well as Kickass & Hit Girl,

The deadline is November 30th,and the winners announced on December 23rd with full rules for writers here and artists here with tips for writers here, where Millar posts script for Jupiter's Legacy.

The stories under consideration:

KICK­ASS & HIT­GIRL (5 pages):This story should be set during Kick­Ass 1­3.

EMPRESS (5 pages): This story should be set when Emporia was still living on Earth and Dane was her royal bodyguard.

NEMESIS (4 pages): This story should be set somewhere during the first volume.

HUCK (5 pages): This should be a simple story set around the time of #1 and before Huck's gifts were known to the public.

SUPERCROOKS (4 pages): This story can be set anytime.

SUPERIOR (5 pages): This story can be set anytime.
