Action Lab To Give Away 5 Million Copies Of Militeddy Bears #1 To Kids For Veterans Day

Screenshot (402) At the Baltimore Diamond Retailer Summit yesterday, Action Lab Comics took to the stage to announce their new plans, to give five million comics away to free to schools across America as part of a reading programme and industry outreach, partnering with Diamond, Pop Culture Classroom and Reading With Pictures, to create lessons to go along with the comics.

He points out the educators have accepted comics as an education tool but also have problems with funding.

And he wants comic book retailers to participate in talking to their local schools, buying packs of comics, 30 for a dollar, including lesson plans and suggested scripts to reach out to schools.

With the end game of seeing those kids shopping in those stores.

They will launch the program on Veterans Day with a national media campaign. The comic they are giving away is Militeddy Bears #1, which also funds veteran families, with multiple learning paths in history and language.
