You'll Be Able To Play Halo 5 On PC By Way Of Forge Mode Very Soon

Halo 5

Since Halo 2, the franchise has been absent from PC (excluding Halo Online). This isn't do to lack of asking though, as getting Halo back onto the platform has been a constant ask of fans for quite some time.

Well, on Thursday September 8th that wait is over…kinda. As was previously reported, Halo 5's Forge mode is coming to PC in order to allow players to better construct great levels, with more precision allowed by a mouse and keyboard.

However, if you wanted to 'play' Halo on PC you aren't entirely out of luck. You can host custom games of up to 16 players to test the maps out…so you will, in a round about way, be able to play Halo 5 matches on the platform.

This is hopefully just the start of Halo's step back onto PC. As Xbox are aggresively growing on the platform, we are seeing more Xbox One exclusives come to PC. Keep an eye on Halo 6
