Talking Comics – Blue Beetle Rebirth #1, Deathstroke #1, Civil War II Ulysses #1 & More!

Bleeding Cool welcomes the return of Talking Comics, from Excalibur Comics, Cards, and Games in Shreveport, Louisiana, to discuss this week's upcoming books, speculating about where they are headed, and discuss their favorite storylines.

Hosts Randy Young and Chris Hunter say:

It's another great week with some fantastic comics hitting the shelf especially from DC Comics!

For all of you Blue Beetle fans, this is your week! Not only does Jaime Reyes return as the Blue Beetle but we also get Ted Kord in this new series as well, taking a look at Jamie's hometown and how the government has taken of it over and what's their interest in his special scarab that gives him his unique powers!

DC Comics Deathstroke has made a huge comeback on TV in the past several years and this week we get the new ongoing Deathstroke series from DC Comics. For any of you fans of the classic Teen Titans story, The Judas Contract, you will definitely want to read what Christopher Priest is going to be doing with this new Deathstroke series!

John Constantine fans! Don't miss Hellblazer #1 dropping this week because not only is John not ready for London and what it wants from him but he also gets asked for a favor from none other than the Swamp Thing!

Marvel has tons of Civil War 2 tie-in issues this week but most notably we do get Civil War 2 Ulysses #1 from Marvel Comics, detailing the origin of Ulysses and how he has come to be where he is now within the Marvel Universe itself. Is he being influenced? Is there someone else controlling his abilities? We'll find out with this first issue!

Also don't miss out on the Civil War 2 tie-in issues, such as Captain America Steve Rogers #4, Captain Marvel #8, Deadpool #17, New Avengers #15, and Venom Space Knight #11!

And several of our favorites are hitting the shelf this week, like Wonder Woman #5, Dept. H #5, Detective Comics #939, and Mechanism #2

Don't miss our Question of the Week because it's all about dreams and conventions! And we want to hear from you in the comments below!
