Tite Kubo's Bleach To Get Live-Action Film

BleachAccording to Anime News Network, Tite Kubo's Bleach manga is getting a live-action film adaptation scheduled to debut in Japan in 2018. The film will star Sōta Fukushi as Ichigo Kurosaki, and Shinsuke Sato will direct.

As previously announced, Bleach will end with its 74th volume.

 

Bleach inspired a television anime adaptation that ran for 366 episodes from 2004 to 2012. It ran on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim from 2006 to 2014. The manga has also inspired four anime films, a series of novels, and several video games.
