Publisher THQ Has Been Revived As Nordic Games Rebrand

imageBack in 2013, one of the biggest game publishers in the world up and disappeared, as THQ went bankrupt. When it went under, all of its properties were auctioned off, and Nordic Games ended up walking away with a lot of them.

Well, that company has had a rebrand, reviving the THQ name as THQ Nordic. The company says to have 23 games in production right now, 13 of which are not currently announced. Many of those will be based on THQ games too.

This is quite exciting news, and while it's hard to imagine Nordic will have anywhere near the resources of old THQ, hopefully it can do some good with the brands. Personally, I hope we get a new, fully fledged Darksiders title. The franchise deserves another chance, especially since the first two games were great. Interested to see how this porgresses.
