Young Animal Launches With A One Shot – And More From The DC Comics Retailer Presentation

The Diamond Retailer Lunch Meeting is underway as San Diego Comic-Con. Where retailers from across the world gather to talk with publishers, distributors and pick up swag!

And Hilton Collins, Aaron Haaland and Jeremy Konrad have been letting us know what's going down. Including DC Comics.

Young Animal is getting a non-returnable one shot that will be announced at their panel later today. Sounds like a "DC Universe Rebirth" like one shot.  And the cover for Doom patrol has a removeable jiro.

Talking of Rebirth, it really exceeded DC's expectations. They listened to retailer concerns and thanks them. They think that retailers are best way to sell books. Dennis Barger was seen violently nodding, almost knocking off his hat.

Rebirth predicts some big shipping numbers coming in August. The Suicide Squad movie according to DC is tracking a $140 million opening.

All June rebirth titles will be returnable in September – though few are expected to be returned.

There will be new TPB collections for the Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman Rebirth titles, but the rest will wait.
