The Women And Men Of Bleeding Cool At San Diego Comic Con 2016

There are the official writers of Bleeding Cool at San Diego Comic-Con, interviewing, reporting, reviewing, reacting, and helping those who can't attend feel like they're on the show floor. From Artists Alley to Hall H, from the bars at the Hyatt to the top of the Hard Rock. Follow them on Twitter, ask them questions,

image (1)Marilyn Weiss spends her days working as a children's librarian and her nights reading, watching TV and sewing.  She loves Batgirl, Ms. Marvel, cosplaying and dissecting Hallmark movies. Marilyn will be covering the children's comics panels and the Her Universe Fashion Show (and of course playing way too much Pokémon Go). You can find her on Twitter @marilynjweiss

Joe Glass is a Senior Bleeding Cool correspondent having covered conventions and more for the site for 20140724_071344over three years. He is also the creator and writer of LGBTQ superhero team series The Pride, which was one of the Top 25 Comixology Submit Titles of 2014 and just had an incredibly successful Kickstarter for a hardcover collected edition. He also co-writes on Welsh horror comedy series, Stiffs. Both series are available on Comixology, and also The Pride Online Store and Stiffs Online Store.

Dan Celko PicDan Celko is Senior Operations Manager for Bleeding Cool at SDCC this year. Over the years he has collected a multitude of job descriptions under his belt resulting in a self-proclaimed jack-of- all-trades status. However he has come to SDCC for the second time with Bleeding Cool to do the two things he loves most: Playing video games and writing about said video games. You can expect Dan to be giving you as much gaming coverage as he can muster at SDCC and to tell you what he thinks about them. Feel free to talk all things nerdy and gaming with him on Twitter @RadicalDann

aaronAaron Haaland is a lifelong comic fan, owner of A Comic Shop and The Geek Easy bar in Orlando, FL, and a weekly contributor to Bleeding Cool with his A Comic Show video highlighting new comic releases. This is his 10th SDCC, and he'll be reporting on DC comics, Hasbro toys, Transformers, the Diamond Retailer Lunch, and whatever else catches his fancy. He does have ADHD, but he assures Bleeding Cool that he will take his Adderall for the duration of the con.

IMG_7486Frazer Brown is an award-winning Filmmaker, Investor and Theatrical Producer. He has been an International Correspondent for Bleeding Cool since 2012, Covering Cons globally. Frazer is in town this week conducting Interviews, Covering Media Launches and Photographing anything that moves. Oh, and Y'know THAT party? Yeah THAT one…he'll see you there.  This is Frazer's 4th SDCC in a row for Bleeding Cool. You can follow him on twitter @frazerbrown and Instagram @frazerbrownofficial.

portraitHilton Collins loves sci-fi and fantasy entertainment in all genres. By day, he's a (mostly) mild-mannered writer and videographer. By night, he's… well… the same thing—24 hours a day of nerd awesomeness. Follow him on Twitter at: @HiltonCollins to see what he's up to.

msangregorioMike Sangregorio is a lifelong fan of comics. He is from New York. This is his sixth trip to SDCC, his second with Bleeding Cool. He is a frequent convention goer, Browncoat, and Marvel Zombie who loves coffee. Think that about covers it.

COVER-300x450Anthony Desiato is a documentarian, podcaster, and attorney. His first film, My Comic Shop DocumentARy, chronicled New York's Alternate Realities, where Anthony worked for over a decade. His follow-up short, By Spoon! The Jay Meisel Story, depicted the humor and heartbreak of a curmudgeonly flea market vendor. Anthony currently hosts the My Comic Shop History podcast. This is his second journey to SDCC and first with Bleeding Cool. He will be covering a variety of panels, particularly those with a legal or retail focus. Follow him on Twitter: @DesiWestside.

unnamed (58)Joshua Stone has been collecting comics since before most of you were born. He is a husband and a father of two boys, who somehow still finds time to love these nerdy things, and still keep his job as a civilian. This is Josh's fifth year covering SDCC for Bleeding Cool. If you see Josh wandering around with a lost look on his face, it's probably just that even though this is his 14th SDCC, the place still amazes him. Unless he really is lost. Either way, you can follow him on Twitter @1Nerdyone, just don't follow him around the convention hall, he has enough problems in life without having a stalker.

image1 (2)Kirk Staley is attending SDCC for his 3rd year as press but 18 years as a person.  He'll be covering mostly Marvel and DC Comics TV Shows. He is also a deaf reporter, but can hear 90% of dialogue now. His favorite tv shows still haven't changed, Daredevil, Agents of SHIELD, Sleepy Hollow, The Arrow, and the Flash.

Janel Smith is a nerd who loves to write about her latest fandom obsession. She loves to travel for conventions as they allow her to meet new people that share her passions. Fortunately, her love for science fiction, games, and comics books are much easier for her to write about than herself.

The Women And Men Of Bleeding Cool At San Diego Comic Con 2016

Hugh Sheridan is a longtime comic fan from Ireland who is travelling to SDCC for the first time to report for Bleeding Cool. He  will be covering the panels for the Luke Cage Netflix series, The Strain, The Last Man on Earth and Stan Lee as well as a few others. He also has an interview with Christopher James Priest lined-up for the con. If you are attending the con he should be easy to spot as the She-Hulk cosplayer with a full beard.

imageWill Romine will be attending his 7th SDCC, his 4th writing for BleedingCool.com, and his first with his wife, Farzana Romine.  Look out Wayne and Jan Skylar, there's a new married news team in town.  If you see them on the floor, don't be shy!  Marriage won't slow this old boy down.  This year, Will will bring you even more SDCC fun than in years past.

12376102_10153446788677739_184246037637580782_nFarzana Romine writes a weekly column for the Dhaka Tribune in Bangladesh. She loves taking photos and will be covering SDCC primarily with her camera. This year she is attending her first Comic Con with her husband Will Romine. She'll cover panels, parties, and other events. It's like you'll be there only, you know, at home.

image1Jeremy Konrad is attending his 3rd SDCC for Bleeding Cool this year. It will be tough to top last year, but he is willing to try. When he isn't writing for BC or managing his comic book store, you can listen to him on his podcasts: The Comic Book Nerd and Hangin With Team Kanan all about Star Wars. Follow him on Twitter @jeremyohio and say hi!

professorPeter S. Svensson just can't stop reporting for Bleeding Cool, having done this longer than pretty much anyone else on this list. He spent five years running a comic shop, and is now a teacher because the pay is better. Once again he's competing in the Pro/Fan Comics Trivia Match on Sunday afternoon versus Len Wein and his team: the Purple Prose. Next month he's helping run the Official Power Morphicon, the Power Rangers convention in Pasadena, California.(officialpowermorphicon.com)
Yes, Erika is his sister.

She will be filming and taking photos at the con as well as writing articles with at least one bad pun. Erika spends her days working on film projects and has begun training for American Ninja Warrior. Current comics she enjoys are Rat Queens, Saga, and Sex Criminals. When she is not filming, lifting or reading comics she enjoys hanging out with friends, family, and her dogs.

1047980_10100147473489409_459122809_o-2Octavio Karbank is a twenty-eight year old Whovian and aficionado of all things geeky, an avid collector of comic books, but also a freelance writer with a passion for interviewing creators, composing reviews, and working on his own literary projects! While at San Diego Comic Con this year, he will be running around like a maddened Dalek, heading from panel-to-panel and interview-to- interview! You can check his comings and goings at SDCC this year over at his Twitter, @TymeHunter.

And yes… not me. I'm not there this year. Long story. But I will be watching from afar…
