Kurtis Wiebe Continues Rat Queens As A Webcomic For Now, With Mike Norton, Cecilia Dupuy And More

Rat Queens was a popular comic book for Image Comics by Kurtis Wiebe and Roc Upchurch.  Recently it was announced by co-creator Kurtis Weibe that Rat Queens was being put on hiatus as a series. There had been troubles since it was discovered that the co-creator, Roc Upchurch, had been arrested on charges of domestic abuse. While there was no prosecution by the courts, Upchurch admitted to being involved to Bleeding Cool. Upchurch left the book as a result and was eventually replaced with artist Tess Fowler. But that ended with controversy.

Now co-creator Kurtis Wiebe has announced that it will return, but as a webcomic for now, before returning to print. And beginning with strips drawn by Battlepug creator Mike Norton and Cecilia Dupuy.
