A Very South Carolina Doctor Who Comics Day

Greenville, S.C. is a long way from the UK, but characters from across the Doctor Who universe descended on Borderlands Comics and Games Saturday for Doctor Who Comic Book Day.

"I love doing these types of events for both the store and the fans," said store owner Robert Young. "We didn't have an official costume contest, but it was great to see so many people come out in costume to celebrate their love of the show."

In addition to an in-store signing by artists Kelly Yates and Tony Shasteen, the store provided a life-sized Tardis for Whovians from all walks of life to explore and pose with for photos.
