Brian Bendis Makes Reference To That Civil War II Leak. Ish.

Earlier this year, a user on the NeoGaf forums posted what appeared to be a detailed report of the script to Civil War II #1. Bleeding Cool, entertained by the post, reprinted it.

Little knowing that it would be utterly accurate aside from two things.

The name of the Inhuman was Homer rather than Ulysses.

And the leaker reported the death of both War Machine and She-Hulk.

Instead, She-Hulk didn't quite die at the end of the issue, instead she was in critical condition and flatlining. One can see how such a reader might have come to that conclusion.

Brian Bendis doesn't exactly address the leak, be he did allude to it, telling CBR,

Notice, I didn't answer if she was still alive? There are some people reacting to Internet rumor like they heard She-Hulk died. I can always tell from the way the question is asked whether a person read the story or not.

Well… you can see why some folks might think she had if they'd read the comic as well…
