Hyper Force Neo Cancelled After First Issue, To Be Republished As A Graphic Novel

Jarrett Williams' Hyper Force Neo was prominent in Z2's offering for Free Comic Book Day this year. But the first published issue is the last you'll get for a while. Solicitations for issues #2, #3, #4 and #5 have all been cancelled.

Z2 Comics co-publishers Josh Frankel and Sridhar Reddy told Bleeding Cool, after we made enquiries,

Jarrett Williams' HYPER FORCE NEO's monthly series has been cancelled. The story will be published as a full graphic novel in February 2017. After the first issue release we realized that Jarrett's story worked better in a long form format, as there is so much narrative density and kinetic movement to his work. We strongly believe in and support Jarrett's art, and want to give his work the best showcase it deserves.

While Jarret told us,

I'm fully committed to Hyper Force Neo and am thankful to all those who took a shot on Issue #1! I'm putting my all into the first volume and it's just about 90% done. I can't wait to showcase the completed book in February 2017.

Here's what we'll have to wait longer for…
