Stan Lee Responds To The Recent Captain America Reveal

stan-leeIt's been quite controversial and has caused a lot of anger to be directed at writer Nick Spencer. But the current storyline that features Captain America being revealed as a long standing agent of Hydra has gotten a lot of folks talking. The latest being Stan Lee who was asked for his thoughts on it while at Megacon this weekend.

Always the optimist, Lee's told the fan that it was a helluva clever idea and not something he thought he could've come up with. He went on to say that Captain America as a double agent will make people want to read the book. That they'll probably do a movie of it.

Lee told the audience that he thought it was a good idea, crazy, but a good idea.

Captain America was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon, but it was Lee and Kirby who brought the character back and into the modern Marvel Universe in Avengers #4
