Not A Clash Of Kings…A Clash Of Consoles: New Regular Show GN Out This Week

Get excited for a fun new title releasing this week! From KaBOOM!, written by Robert Luckett & Rachel Connor, with art by Ze Burnay, comes a new graphic novel entitled Regular Show: Clash of Consoles. This is the third original story from the Regular Show comic, and it's a funny one.

Here's what it's all about:

"…chaos breaks out when three mega-corporations release their new video game consoles on the exact same day! Before Mordecai and Rigby can decide which gaming platform to buy, they're drafted into opposing sides of an all-out gaming war chock full of laser beams, Maximum Gloves, and pixelated casualties, and the stakes have never been higher."

I think it's a major asset to BOOM! Studios to have so many of the Cartoon Network shows translated in comic book form for other people to enjoy. I rarely have time to sit down to binge a bunch of TV, but I do find the time to sit down and read comics. While I've seen a few episodes of Regular Show, most of what I know comes from reading the comics from KaBOOM!. This graphic novel had me laughing out loud, from the moment I read the title. For those of you who don't know, it's a play on words based on George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones: Clash of Kings. Besides, who doesn't love reading a story about video games? We've all been there…

Regular Show: Clash of Consoles releases this Wednesday. Check out the first few pages below:
