Free On Bleeding Cool – The Boys #66 By Garth Ennis And Russ Braun
To help promote the Garth Ennis themed Humble Bundle going on now, Dynamite Entertainment has sent over a free comic. The Boys #66 by Ennis and Russ Braun with a cover by Darrick Robertson. This is the final free Boys issue they sent us.
The 'pay what you want' portion of the bundle includes 4 volumes of The Boys, pay more than the average and get four more and if you pay more than $15 you get an additional four volumes. That's issues #1-72 plus three mini-series: Herogasm, Highland Laddie and Butcher, Baker, Candlestickmaker. For fans of The Boys or Garth Ennis, and with the recent edition of Red Team to the bundle, this is an amazing deal.
The issue below is where the last Boys story begins with some very shady goings on in Moscow, as an old friend runs into some unexpected trouble. Butcher announces a promotion that doesn't please everybody, Annie makes a decision that horrifies Hughie- and in the aftermath of last issue's super-carnage, Vought-American begin the struggle for survival.
