#ValiantSummit Live Broadcast By Twitch TV, Updating As We Go…

Valiant's upcoming Valiant Summit 2016 live event – to be broadcast from New York's renowned Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on Tuesday at 2 pm ET – is now being broadcast live on Twitch,.tv making it the first major comics event to receive live coverage on the world's largest live-video network for gamers.

With several creators traveling to New York to appear, Valiant has promised major news and announcements for the event, including first word on several of their Free Comic Book Day-teased projects, including Harbinger, Shadowman, Britannia, Savage, Bloodshot War, and more.

But that might not be the only big news that event produces.

With a viewership of more than 100 million, Twitch's cumulative reach will give Valiant's second annual live-streaming media event a bigger potential audience than DC's recent YouTube Rebirth press conference, the most recent Image Expo or Marvel's Secret Wars kick-off event from Midtown Comics.

Last year, Valiant set the bar high by becoming the first comics publisher to be invited to broadcast live from Twitter headquarters on the then-new Periscope app. Might this be a new record waiting to be broken?
