Ale Garza tells Bleeding Cool,

It's with great excitement that I'm here to announce the rebirth of my creator owned series, Ninja Boy!

Ninja Boy originally published through Wildstorm/DC comics in the early 2000s by myself and Allen Warner (Avengers Academy) followed the adventures of Nakio and Sake on a quest to avenge the Mugen clan.

A fan favorite from the beginning we're stoked to have many of comics biggest talents on board for helping launch the new series!

For the oversized 30 page first issue relaunch we have Humberto Ramos, Skottie Young, Dustin Nguyen, Joe Benitez, Sean 'Cheeks' Galloway, Kaare Andrews and Mark Brooks all on board to lend their artistic talents to a wide variety of variant covers. More artists to be announced, that will surely make this new series one of the most talked about in years.

The art chores will be handled by myself, veteran inker Dan Green, and the incomparable Luis Guerrero on colors.

Writing chores will be handled by myself and Warner and we have some huge plans to not only knock the fans of the original series on their heads but will also excite a whole new generation of fans.

Ninja Boy 2 will be released by Overground Comics late 2016 and will run monthly for an initial 6 issues.

The original series that was released by Wildstorm/DC comics will also be available digitally for the first time through Overground Comics.
