Mirror's Edge Catalyst Has Been Delayed Two Weeks

Mirror's Edge

Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been a little quiet of late as DICE try and get the game where it needs to be ahead of release. That should all change with the impending beta for the game though, as players will finally get their hands on the game.

However, in order to interpret the data from the beta, the developer has decided to push back the release date of the game by two weeks. Mirror's Edge Catalyst will now release on June 7th in the US. In an official post, director Erik Odeldahl said:

We also want to make sure we have the opportunity and time to address player feedback from the Closed Beta. That is why we will give ourselves a bit more time to perfect the game, with a new release date for Mirror's Edge Catalyst of June 7th (NA) and June 9th (EU). We're confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players.

More time, better game is how this usually goes, so I'm fine with this. It's only two weeks and it helps to make the game run will at launch, I'm in.
