The Dark Souls Board Game Has Raced To Nearly Half A Million On Kickstarter
Dark Souls is very hot right now, as the excellent Dark Souls III is out pleasing fans all over. The franchise is at a high, especially when it looks like it has just concluded. Plus, the popularity of board games is also on a huge upswing at the moment, so it stands to reason that a Dark Souls board game would do gangbusters right now.
And that appears to be the case. Steamforged Games launched a Dark Souls Kickstarter yesterday and it has exploded. The project made it's $70,000 goal in a mere three minutes and has now surged to just shy of half a million. Seems demand was pretty high then.
Stretch goals are now being added, with more classes and bosses being added now as the total soars. Head over here if you want to check it out and pledge. The figurines do look beautiful too.
