Memories, They Are A-Changin – For The Teen Titans And More

Superman may have got his costume back and his powers back, but his secret identity is still out there in the wild, something of which we are rather reminded in today's Superman #50.

I'm starting to hear rumours that Rebirth will see them reworking his identity as well. But how? Well there's a lot of memory re-jigging going on. I'm still told that the DC Universe will "remember" the Justice Society Of America as having operated in the 1930s and 1940s, Batgirl has just managed to make The Killing Joke and other incidents and made them into a false memory and Titans Hunt, well…

Another memory that the world – and the participants – forgot.

For Marvel, it's a case of been here, done that with Spider-Man's secret identity, but the Secret Wars also managed to change a few things, Miles Morales' mother back from the dead and their lace in the Marvel Universe, Doctor Doom's face, Tony Stark's education and geographical location of Cambridge University, and even today's Starbrand and Nightmask are having difficulty remembering what came before…
