Batgirl To Get A Brazilian For DC Comics Rebirth

A couple of weeks ago, Brazilian website Omelete, also behind the country's popular Comic Con, Experience event was talking about the DC Comics Rebirth titles on YouTube.

And around the 11:20 mark on this video, they say that a Brazilian creator (though they cannot say who it is) is working on the Batgirl title for DC.

Marcelo Hessel (on the right): Let's wait until they announce the creative teams, this is gonna happen only next month. And there are a lot of cool things, things involving Brazilians…

Erico Borgo (on the left): There are more Brazilians than Americans at DC Comics!

Marcelo Hessel: Ivan Reis will draw Rebirth…

Erico Borgo: Soon Ivan Reis will replace Geoff Johns and Jim Lee!

Marcelo Hessel: Yeah, he's the boss over there! And we have an information that we can't tell, but it's gonna be very cool, involving Brazil and Batgirl. And it's gonna be awesome.

Erico Borgo: Do we have this information?

Marcelo Hessel: We have, but we can't talk about it.

Erico Borgo: You're the only one that has it.

Marcelo Hessel: I have it, but he asked me not to talk about it. But wait for it, it will be very cool
