The Uncharted 4 Story Completely Changed When New Directors Took Over
Back in early 2014, directors on Uncharted 4 Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond left developer Naughty Dog after having worked on the game for some time. Since then, The Last of Us directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley have taken over the project, seeing it through to the game's imminent release.
It turns out though, that during that transition, none of the old plans for the game have made it into this version. Talking to The New York Times, Druckmann revealed that the story for the game "100 percent" changed.
This is interesting, because whatever happens, be the final story great or lackluster, there will always be another version of the game that could have happened. I wonder if we will ever see it surface…
