DC TV Stakes Claim To A Fourth Night Of Television

DCLegendsThis is a big week for Warner Bros / DC TV as there will be at least one hour of programming related to their characters each night for four nights (Mon – Thu). That is really quite impressive as four hour long episodes and two specials will air across two networks. So where Marvel may be hitting it out of the park in the theaters, DC is creating hours and hours of television.

The week starts off with Supergirl on Monday at 8 PM on CBS. In the episode we get to see more of the now revealed J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood) in action while Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) has to deal with the Toyman (Henry Czerny).

On Tuesday we start with The Flash at 8 PM on the CW. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) has to decide if he wants to tell Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) about his abilities while as The Flash he must deal with a villain called The Turtle (Aaron Douglas) who can slow down time for speedsters.

Then at 9 PM there is a special focused on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, with an in-depth look at Rip Hunter, his new team and the man they are going up against, Vandal Savage.

And at 9:30 PM is DC Films Present: Dawn of the Justice League hosted by Kevin Smith and will include looks at both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad plus interviews with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Zack Snyder and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.

Moving on to Wednesday we have Arrow at 8 PM on the CW. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) seeks revenge and goes on a brutal manhunt to find Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), after dealing with the devastating consequences of Darhk's latest attack. Plus Anarky (Alexander Calvert) returns.

Then on Thursday, the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow on the CW. The episode runs an extra three minutes long, from 8 pm to 9:03. Here Time Master Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) pulls together a ragtag group of heroes and villains to stop the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). The team consists of The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Firestorm (Victor Garber, Franz Drameh).

And if that is not enough, on the following Monday FOX gets into the game with the premier of Lucifer after the return of X-Files. Gotham will return at the end of February after X-Files does their six episodes.
