The Hateful Eight Featurette Focuses On Samuel L. Jackson And His Working With Quentin Tarantino

"When you think of Quentin Tarantino, the first person I think of is Samuel L. Jackson." That's the first thing Walton Goggins says in this featurette and for a lot of people that's true. Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, Jackie Brown and now The Hateful Eight. The two have worked together a few times. Tarantino said that The Hateful Eight story originated as a Django novel until he realized it would do better without the already known character… which makes Jackson's character of Major Marquis Warren the most likely replacement for Django. So with Django out, he wrote a new character and Jackson stepped in.

The featurette below talks about the special working relationship between the director / writer and the actor and how it always brings out something great.
