Oculus Touch Controllers Have Been Delayed
The Oculus Rift is set to be with us in Q1, but it will come in a little light.
The touch controllers, that are actually quite impressive by most accounts, won't be making the ball, instead arriving fashionably late some time in the future. Oculus announced the delayed controllers on Facebook saying:
On the path to perfecting Touch, we've decided that we need more time before release, and we'll now be shipping Touch in the second half of 2016. Preorders will open a few months prior to launch.
I'm interested to try this hardware and see the actual implementation in games before passing judgement on this, but I'm sure there is value in these. I'd love to see them totally worthwhile.
