Talking Comics – Batman & TMNT #1, Snow Blind #1, Scarlet Witch, The Violent #1 & More!

Bleeding Cool welcomes the return of Talking Comics, from Excalibur Comics, Cards, and Games in Shreveport, Louisiana, to discuss this week's upcoming books, speculating about where they are headed, and discuss their favorite storylines.

December is off to a fantastic start this year as we get tons of brand new number ones that ship this week and not all of them are all from Marvel Comics!

This week, we get to see Scarlet Witch make her debut in her new ongoing series as she goes traveling around the world to fix magic, but the greatest question still remains and that is who broke magic in the first place?

Also from DC Comics, we get to see the biggest team-up between IDW Comics and DC Comics in the form of Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 hitting this week. Somehow, there has been some type of dimensional bleed, and the Turtles are in Gotham, and Batman is fighting the Foot Clan!

Another fantastic and interesting series that caught our eyes is The Violent #1 from Image Comics. This is a dark, dirty take on a man trying to keep his life together and protect his child while old ghosts from the past come to haunt him.

Lastly, don't forget about Boom Studios. They still put out great books and one that we're really looking forward to seeing this week is Snow Blind #1. This takes a look at a boy living in Alaska who innocently posts a picture of his family on the Internet and now strange and dark people are after him and his family.

For the storylines this week, we finally get another issue of Secret Wars. We also get the first Star Wars annual of the current Star Wars run of comics. Also, several parts of the Robin War drop this week, as well, from DC Comics, so do not miss out on those continuations of everyone's favorite titles. Plus, tons of our favorite titles are hitting this week, as well.
