The Justice League – CW Style

Last night's Arrow was the second part of the Flash / Arrow crossover event and we got to see a superhero team working together and a clear leader stepping up… and to no surprise that was Oliver Queen. Weird how a spoiled brat spends 5 years in hell, comes back insisting he's a loner and ends up leading a team of superheroes.

The episode is a game changer in a few ways, not only as the set up for DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but Olive makes a discover that will have big ramifications later in the season. And we are reminded that even though Malcolm Merlyn loves his daughter, he's still a conniving and evil villain.

But the main thing here is that this group worked as a team, a CW version of the Justice League with Green Arrow, Flash, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Speedy, Diggle (are we calling him Spartan now?), Vibe (he took the name already), Caitlin Snow and Felicity Smoak. I was going to describe the scene that starts with an archer taking a group of heroes to hide out on a farm house and leads to them putting together a plan to attack the big bad guy… but the CW was nice enough to post that very scene on-line,… so you'll find it below.

It's not very spoilerish… but if you want to go into the episode knowing nothing then look away.

Both Flash and Arrow have mid-season finales airing next week and you know they will leave us with something to think about.
