Colton Haynes To Return As Roy Harper On Arrow
He left the show near the end of season 3, but like the mob… just when you think you're out, they pull you back in. Actor Colton Haynes tweeted that he arrived in Vancouver to begin filming Arrow. Haynes who plays Roy Harper / Arsenal was a regular for a few seasons but his character had his death faked and then took off. Thea eventually caught up with him and he gave her his Arsenal outfit to become Speedy before taking off again.
Executive Producer Mark Guggenheim said that it was always their plan to bring Haynes back as a guest star when the story permitted…. and in this case it will be in the 12th episode which will likely be in February 2016. Guggenheim gave no specifics on what will bring Roy back to Star City but it appears he will just be back for the one episode so far.
I wonder if they have one of those mannequins set aside for his costume in the new lair?
Arrow's mid-season finale, the second of the two part crossover with The Flash, airs December 2nd at 8 PM on the CW.
