"Love Echoes In All Of Us" Don't Miss Out On The Infinite Loop TP From IDW

Once and awhile, a comic will come along that is really important. It usually happens when you least expect it, and that has been the story for The Infinite Loop creative team, consisting of Elsa Charretier and Pierrick Colinet. After having a successful Kickstarter, IDW Publishing picked up the series and released six issues. Now, those spectacular six issues are being collected into a trade paperback which releases this week.

For those of you who don't know…The Infinite Loop is a science-fiction series that asks the age-old question, "What would you risk for a chance at true love?" The story follows Teddy, a young woman who lives in a faraway future where time traveling is a common practice and her job is to maintain the status quo by correcting time paradoxes. But when she meets Ano, "a time paradox" and the girl of her dreams, Teddy must decide between fixing the time stream or the love of her life, both of which have unique consequences.

Last February former E.I.C. of Bleeding Cool (now an editor at Dark Horse), Hannah Means-Shannon, had a chat with the creative team about The Infinite Loop. When asked about the universal appeal of the book, Elsa Charretier answered:

"I think the two main themes, love and the fight for our basic right to love, can resonate in everyone's heart. Love echoes in all of us. At a certain point in our lives, we all had to fight for love, whether it was to find it, or to keep it. That's one of the things that made me want to work on this book so bad. Would I do this myself? Would I throw my heart and soul into a fight that might endanger my own life, and my family's lives? Honestly, I'd like to say yes, but I don't know. And I'm probably not the only one to wonder. Drawing this story made me realize that supporting the people that actually act is already a step… at least I hope so!"

I think that's something we can all get on board with. From what I've read of the book, I have to say that I'm really happy about it. The story is beautiful, the art is captivating, and I can understand why so many people have supported it from it's beginning stages. I urge you to not miss out. Grab a copy of The Infinite Loop TP, which releases this Wednesday, November 18th.
