Riley Luce Unleashes "Summer Rambo" Animated Short

By Nikolai Fomich

Philadelphia-based cartoonist and animator Riley Luce has released his latest cartoon short "Summer Rambo," a completely hand-drawn piece of animation. The short is the culmination of about 1,400 individual drawings and two years of worth of spare time put to good use. Luce used transparency film, charcoal pencils, sharpies, and acrylic paint in creating "Summer Rambo," which was inspired in part by the band APE!. Watch "Summer Rambo" below and look out for a future installment of Philly Comix featuring Riley.
