Metal Gear Solid V Developers Skipped Summer Vacations To Bring PC In Line With Global Release

It was a nice surprise when we found out that Metal Gear Solid V was being brought forward on PC. The port was initially set for a September 15th release date, but has now seen a bump forward, meaning it will fall in line with tomorrow's universal platform release.

This was at a cost to the developers though. Taking to Twitter senior producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi revealed that developers decided to postpone vacations in order to bring the port a full two weeks early.

That is a little sad. Game development is hard, and I can't even fathom the amount of work that must go into a monumental game like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I hope they all get some time off soon!
