Diversity An Important Issue For Marvel's New College Comic Starbrand And Nightmask

StarbrandNightmask-cov-ef678I have an article planned for later called 9 Marvel Comics They Haven't Officially Annoucned Yet. Time to knock that down to 8.

Marvel have given CBR the PR to announce their new series Starbrand & Nightmask, taking two characters from the old Marvel new Universe line, as reinvented for the Avengers titles by Jonathan Hickman.

And it's coming from Gargoyles' and Kanan's Greg Weisman and Dominike Stanton.

And its a college campus comedy, at Empire State University, alongside Squirrel Girl, and all sorts of folks.

Diversity has always been an important issue to me, going back to "Gargoyles" at least. This is going to be a book with an extremely diverse cast of characters, which is part of the reason I wanted Nightmask to share billing with Starbrand.
