Bad Wolf, New TV Production Company From Doctor Who's Jane Tranter And Julie Gardner

Bad Wolf was the "big bad" theme that ran through the first series of the returning Doctor Who back in 2005, starring Christopher Eccleston.

It is now also the name of a new TV production company set up by Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner, two of the main people were responsible for the TV show's return and the creation of Torchwood. They both recently left BBC Worldwide in LA.

Based in South Wales and Los Angeles, Variety reports,

The company is putting together an ambitious production slate. Development deals with U.S. networks and studios are close to being agreed, with discussions also underway with U.K. and European broadcasters.

Bad Wolf will have its production base at a permanent studio in South Wales, and is forecast to attract in the region of £100 million ($155 million) to the economy of Wales over the next 10 years.

Seems an appropriate time to re-embed the Ballad Of Russell And Julie…
