Captain Marvel #1 Will Relaunch In December, And Abigail Brand Will Be A Supporting Character

406px-Ohitsme--Brand_2From a recent Women Of Marvel podcast and, yes, eys, I am still catching up on stuff missed in the SDCC maw, the team made a farewell to Kelly Sue De Connick, specifically her role in the reinvention and reintroduction of Captain Marvel.

As to the new team, Agent Carter writers Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, they confirmed that the new series would be launching in December 2015 and that, while Captain MArvel will be replacing the role of S.W.O.R.D. in the Marvel Universe, S.W.O.R.D. commander Abigail Brand will continue to be a regular character in the series…

And how the approach to Butters and Fazekas was intermediated by Jeph Loeb.
