Comickaze To Open Second Store Next To IDW

11063886_853311244755063_7916659933190187467_nThat's just a photoshop job so far. But when we visited the IDW offices after San Diego Comic Con, there was talk of a new comic store setting up. Well now that the lease has been finalised it's official.

San Diego comic book store Comickaze will be opening its second location in the autumn in Point Loma, in the Arts District of NTC Liberty Station and just across from IDW's offices, their new San Diego Comic Art Gallery, as well as Stone Brewing and Slater's50/50, who did me a very nice avocado salad.

Located in renovated Naval Training barracks, all the businesses in the area have to be arts based, or serving the arts communities. The store intends to be involved with them all, and to hold monthly literacy events.
